Our staff

APN Cape York has a number of programs and initiatives that are designed to look after our land, encourage community participation, promote employment and training, facilitate the transfer of cultural knowledge and help families return to their homelands.

Aak Puul Ngantam Rangers
The Aak Puul Ngantam Ranger Program is designed to identify key threats to our ecosystem and the rich biodiversity. The APN Rangers has then implemented activities to address those key threats.

APN Cape York is committed to improving conservation outcomes for our country, that are delivered by the traditional owners of the land we work on.

APN Cape York has ongoing funding through the Queensland Government's Queensland Indigenous Land and Sea Ranger Program. Funding is for a ranger coordinator and nine full-time rangers to coordinate and run on-country programs. This compliments funding that APN Cape York receives through many other partnerships as well as our commercial activties of Carbon and Cattle Projects.
